My pet rainbow lorriket's tail feathers have fallen out and they're not growing back what can i do?

sounds like it might be french molt which isnt good and can be passed down to its young so dont breed. make sure you feed the correct foods aswell

More than likely your bird has moulted his tail feathers and the other body feather will follow,make sure he has some supplements  added to his diet a drop of Cod liver oil is good, and will help to promote feather growth moulting takes 3-4 weeks in some birds and is a stressful time for them.

If you don't think that it is moulting then contact a vet.

Tail feathers do take quite and while for it to grow back. My cockatiel did not fully regrow his "mohawk" for months.

oooohhh its a disease, cant remember the name sorry!

visit the vet, they should be able to help. the feathers will most likely not grow back though.

why do you have a wild bird anyway??
