My pet rat bit me again worse help please?

Question

I recently gave him 3 baby female rats for cage mates and now he is very aggressive he bit me once 2 days ago and that is healing nicely even though it was a nice gash

Well he got me again just now and I am a little worried about this one. Im a scardy cat and i dont want to lose my finger

It is very swollen and b/c of this i have trouble bending it.

It looks like the inside of my finger is coming out. There is a pink poofy thing sticking out of my finger from the cut.

Im scared. What should I do. I washed it out 2 times with antibacterial soap and i dont have any neosporin. I wrapped it tightly with a bandaid because when i bend it it bleeds.

Am i going to lose my finger. Kinda scared

I suggest you get yourself a tetanus injection and get the  your local  nurse to see your finger and leave  your rat alone it seems he is getting very protective towards his babies the more you interfere the more he will attack you.

Because its an animal bite, you should see your doctor today. In the meantime, keep it clean and wrap it in sterile gauze. You need to put pressure on it to stop it from bleeding. If after 10 minutes the bleeding doesn't stop, put pressure on it again. But do see your doctor.

your not going to lose your finger, but i do suggest seeing a doctor as well.

I'd get rid of the d**n rat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but by get rid of it I mean find it a new home
