My petrol strimmer keeps cutting out what does this mean?

It needs a drink of petrol!

filter in tank needs cleaning

carb needs cleaning

air filter needs cleaning

blocked air intake into tank

had same trouble with lawnflight was the intake to the tank (the rubber non spill washer) was bloked

As with cars, petrol driven garden tools benefit from regular servicing. When was the last time you had this serviced? It could be something simple such as a blocked fuel line or dirty spark plug.or it could be something more serious.

I would suggest taking it to your local service centre.

Could mean you need to check your fuel to make sure that there isnt any dirt in the fuel tank. Change your spark plug too.
