My phone bill reads i have made premium rate calls? What does this mean?

  1. you've called  phone lines that charge alot of money like game shows on TV


  2. a premium rate call means you have called a number starting 09 in the uk. these are either s*x lines, or phone voting on television shows.

  3. You've been phoning dirty chat lines!

  4. if you have recently made calls to a voting or bidding service ie AGT (americas got talent) bid tv etc this is because it cost an amount higher than the normal price and is usually a non profit company unless your giving money to charity

  5. You have called a company via an 09** number. This could be a technical support line, TV Show etc.

  7. They are calls charged at a higher rate than normal call charges.

  8. You have more than likely called an 0845 or similar sort of number!  Internet banking or most utility companies use premium rate numbers I think!!
