You might be buying a new phone sweetie. But try taking it to your carriers shop first.

Is the phone under warranty?  If so, the provider may repair it for you provided the damage was not caused by user abuse.  

If you do not know, contact the phone carrier (Verizon, AT&T etc) by going into the local store and ask them to look it up for you.

They may even be able to repair it for you on the spot - I have had some success with Verizon with my son's phone.
