My phone broken?

i turned on my phone and its like everything on it got erased all it has is a message saying initial programming required what should i do

If you are still able to make calls on the phone then it's not broken. Have you had a power outage lately?? It could have erased everything on your phone when the lights went out. Also if you took out the battery for some reason that could have also erased it.
