  1. Some cell phones have a SIM card in them it depends on your phone and weither you have your numbers stored on it. I would ask your cell phone company or if you do have a sim in you damaged phone try inserting it into another phone and see if you numbers load :) peace

  2. Chances are your phone has a SIM card that you can place in your new phone.  Whether or not you stored your address book on the SIM card itself though depends on the features of your phone and the options you selected.  With most phones you can choose to save names and numbers to the phone and/or SIM card.  If you selected phone only, and if the phone is completely non-usable you are probably out of luck.

There is hope though.  First, if you saved the information to your SIM card, you probably have no worries.  Just pop the card into your new phone and off you go.  That being said, even if you saved the numbers to only the phone the information on the damaged phone can often times be recovered depending upon the extent of damage done and what accessories you have for your phone.  Often times only the speaker and displays are ruined completely by water damage, but the data is kept (keep it mind I said that depends on the extent of the damage) safely stored.  If that's the case you can generally recover the data by connecting your phone to your PC or Mac, with the help of accessories, copying the data to the computer and then moving the data onto your new phone.

    Good luck!
