it depends on the phone's situation at that time. was it on? if it was, then there's a high possibility that the circuits will be damaged. if it was off, then the odds are very much in your favor. however, this needs lots of patience. a lot. Allow the phone to dry out completely. you may have to let it drip dry for a few days (resist the temptation to turn it on). then once a day, while its off, shake it vigorously just to make sure the water inside is removed. don't try shortcuts like placing the phone in the microwave (you'll fry the circuits). a low dryer may help speed up the process but excessive heat will damage the phone. patience patience. hope you recover your phone
