  1. You can try removing the battery and letting it dry out but chances are its toast.

  2. oh, that sux, i did the same thing to my iPod touch that i just got. I was at a party and we were are in the hot tub and the stereo wasn't working so i brought out my iPod. And what do you know! it slipped out of my hands, into the hot tub and there goes $300 right down the toilet. I called apple and they said that they cant be held responsible for that and that i will have to pay for a new iPod, so unfortunately i am pretty sure the circumstances will be similar in your case. I am very sorry. But, hey it wouldn't hurt to call the costumer service of the phones manufacturer. Ive them a call. I'm sure you can get the number off the manufacturers website. they will tell you if you can save it or not.

  3. Ok...I won't tell you any of that.....but..I will tell you that...

this is the automotive section for maintenance and repairs.( that's cars and trucks).......not phones.

Maybe..the electronics section could help you more.

  4. just went thru this last month you did right taking sim and battery out do not use hair dryer or fan it has to dry on its own took us 3 days and all is great everyone said get new phone just be patient and leave it be for 3 days not 2, 3 days  ohyea dont put on charge yet either

  5. I have had some success with taking it all apart, laying it out and setting the hair dryer to blow on it, on low, warm setting.  I have also heard of covering it with salt--the salt's supposed to suck up the moisture but I've never tried that.  Good luck!

  6. We saved one by putting it under a lamp, the kind for the desk with a flexible neck, about 6 inches or so. I would go ahead a take the battery and card out. don't put it to close just so that it is a little warm. You may start to see condensation on the display. don't try to turn it on until it is clear. give it two or three days at very low heat.

    Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. sometimes you can't always save the phone..

it depends how long it was in..

What i would do would be::::

    Take out the battery

    dry it out

(do all the stuff you did)

    and then.....

try putting it over a running TV.  (maybe the radiation... will flow through it)

    if that doesn't work

it's time to get a new phone :(

  8. Do a Reality check , then buy a new one. Slap yourself , too.
