My phone only half turns on...?

Hello...

My Sony Ericsson w580i has recently stopped turning on - the lights on the side don't flash, nothing appears on the screen, but it DOES vibrate.

I've tried leaving it for a few days, charging it, etc. but nothing has worked. I've also tried the SE website and that's no help at all.

It sounds as though your phone has departed from this mortal coil.. Phones do die, and sometimes, there's no reason why. My sony ericsson K810i has done the same thing and had to be replaced a couple of times. I'm finally giving up, and heading over to nokia..

my Samsung did that when the battery leaked and ate the insides it switches on to show power is there but its eaten the insides.

its dead! time for a new phone (check to see if battery has leaked inside or its got wet as that often causes this)
