My phone rings every evening @ 9pm?

Every night between 8:00pm, and 10:00pm, my phone rings for about a quarter second. I live in Colorado (longmont), and i use Quest. This happens every night, and usually scares me. I dial *69, and it doesn't come back with any other numbers, just the last person who called me (not the brief ring). I think it's something to do with quest, any ideas??

This has happened at my work before, it's most likely someone trying to send you a fax (as stated above) from a normal land-line phone. Take the previous two's advice and call Quest.

May be someone has mistaken your number to be a fax and trying to fax you, or they are running some test or some foriegn voltage is experiencing on your line.

better call your service provider and have a check.

a half ring usually indicates that they are doing a loopback test on your phone system.  Call them, its definatly something to do with them.

Call Quest and have them check it out, its probably them ruinning some kind of test.
