My photo is on 360, but not showing when I chat...Help please?

Also when I chat to my friend who says their photo is on, I can only see a grey smiley, not their photo???

u have to add it through messenger.. u click that cursor under the photo in the chat window and choose 'change display image' and u browse and add ur photo and then choose to display that photo..

Most likely you both are not showing you are on line. When it is set to not appear on line, then you will get the no image. Plus you need to may sure you have your display photo set on your messenger. But if you appear off line this cause the photos not to show.
