I just got a new scanner. I think they were bigger at first..then my son accidentally clicked something and they got small. Is there a way to make the scanner scan them larger...regular size at least? Thanks!

  1. ~it would require someone here to know of type of scanner, like hp, epson, canon, brothers, and if it is solo, multi, or 3in 1 fax/copier,

~ there may be reset to default options, but when you first scan image there should be preview option, and then selection option ★, along with brightness contrast, and size in resolution, and that may be why images appear small, with images, right click to view file size, then open in editor and view image size, sometimes images at high resolution like 600, are small in size like 1 square inch, and there is also printer size which is dpi and not ppi,

~ may be best to reset default and and do quick test scan,

★ possible you may be referring to selection frame, when you scan image it previews and scan the whole glass, when you preview, you have option to resize scan area to match paper or book page, and can be resized next time used,

    ..

  2. After scanning when you save the picture click on the large size option (it will be there in the save as dialog box)

  3. If it's a new scanner it must have a manual. Check the manual to see how to check your scanner settings for photos.
