My pictures copy instead of delete. HELP! no space left!!?

Question

When I try to delete pictures after downloading, they inadvertantly copy instead. I have used so much space with up to 21 copies of one picture. I hold down the ctrl key and highlight the picures I want to delete and they are copied to the end of the row and the highlighted ones are deleted.

Simply right click each picture you want to delete>on drop down click the delete tab
