My pictures on my computer just disappeared, what can I do to get them back?

I tried to restore my computer but it didn't work

may need to know how they disapoofed, try searching all drives for "jpg", usually images are in"my pictures folder or camera name folder,

there is option to undelete/ unerase if needed,

reminder to backup files on cd periodically, and system restore may not work in this case, also may make things disappear if not careful,

try recycle bin or search for them using windows search
