My pictures on my fuji camera wont load onto the computer. what other way can i get it to load?

my best friend got me a fuji film camera. my friend gave me his memory chip. i went on vacation and i used the chip the entire time there. now, i try to upload it onto my laptop and it wont work, but the pictures are still in the camera. how else can i get the pictures onto my laptop?

You have three choices:

1.  Connect the camera to the computer and use the special software it came with.

2.  Connect the camera to the computer and use copy and paste.

3.  Put the memory card in a card read and use copy and paste.  

I use 2 but 3 is actually a lot faster.
