My pictus catfish tries to kill my mollies when they go to the gravel, please help?

  1. Catfish are quite territorial in some tanks, but usually dwell along the bottom.  Soon enough your mollies will learn not to disturb the pictus's area or pay the price.  If you don't have one already, a nice cave or other good hiding spot that the catfish can dominate (make his territory) might move the aggression from the whole bottom of the tank to just the area where his hide his.

    Other than that plenty of plants and other decor/hides will calm down aggression in most tanks (or at least give the weaker fish hiding spots).
