My piggy is in a bad mood?

out of the blue she just started not letting anyone pick her up and just being grumpy. any idea why? she usually loves to be picked up and loves having me and my fiance pet her and just pamper her. what can we do?

She may be pregnant, Petsmart is very bad about selling pregnant guinea pigs and not tell you or notice.  Therefore, I think you should do research on this.  Call the vet, or even better, take her to the vet, he/she maybe able to tell you EXACTLY what the problem is!

Maybe she's sick.  Take her to the vet.  They sell pigs at Petsmart?

Take her to the vet and have her checked. She could be depressed or pregnant. If she starts drinking more water, she could be pregnant. If she sits in one corner of her cage all day, she might be depressed, best wishes, me and my 2 guinea pigs, hope and remmy. :)

Pregnancy is a possibility, but she could also have mites. This should be treated by a vet. Please do not let the vet do a skin scraping like he would on a dog or cat though. These are inconclusive on pigs, and they are very painful. There is a possibility it is adolescence. They do get moody as they reach sexual maturity, but I would take her to the vet to be certain.
