My pink convict an regular convict made a nestand there are eggs but im not sure if i have a male an female?

but the pink one is chaseing all the other fish away and i know thats a female i don't know if 2 females will protect a nest

if they are together and both are protecting the nest, than u have a mating pair. tow of the same s*x will not be with each other. they would have mad seperate nests. congrats ur a grandpa! lol.

Females-  one that stay near the eggs and you don't see to much

Males-one that chase everything away and always on the alert
