My plasma screen t.v comes on for about 10secs then the screen goes black!! HELP!?

I had it for about 3 years and it can be used as a tv screen and computer moniter. It was working fine up until about 2 months ago. It will come on for about 10 secs but then the screen would go black. Im able to hear the audio perfectly but no video. Please help

Iv'e heard alot of stories about plasma TV's only lasting two or three years... I don't really know what the problem could be, but getting it fixed will probably cost alot... I'd just get a new one!
