please picture the symptoms in your head...

she's a female, so she's big, but she's not fat! she's getting skinny - really skinny!

and then, half of her body from mid to the tail fin is bent, making an angle like a crescent.

the bent half of her body is like paralyzed, floating, while the front part (head to mid) is still normal, but due to the floating, her head faces the bottom while floating...

what's the cause of this?? the other fish are fine, but is it contagious? what should i do with her? i don't wanna kill her...

and then, is there any website about curing fish disease?

thanks for helping...

  1. I have seen this quite a few times in the past 5 years with various fish.  I hate to bring bad news, but normally once this happens there really isn't much that can be done, sorry.  Have you checked your water parameters lately?  How old is the fish?  Has anything happened lately that could have severly stressed her (fighting, ph swings, drastic water change, ect)?

I would say that your water parameters is messed up, or she was older.
