Caught up in tomorrow

Drifting far away

Time we can’t borrow

Live only in the day

Suns sets on dreams

Clock ticks past hours

Drifting, what is means

Just look at the flowers

Can’t make a change

When time has not come

It’s out of your range

You’ll be crazy to some

Why spend your life

Dreaming of what it will hold

You cannot stop a knife

If your time is quickly sold

The day is now

No stopping it fly

Some may allow

For you to try

The difference you make

Can only happen here

And anyone can take

Your time, so dear

Past moments are gone

So use all your strength

Live up, no wrong

Your days have a length

(Im 14.. What do you think?)

  3. Carpe diem (Latin "seize the day") from the hands and pen of someone who's going through a time where you're told to do everything right now ... I like it.  And there is NO RULE that poetry must rhyme; indeed, free verse often comes across as more honest.

  4. Another great poem!I think poets are getting younger and younger....and better.....Keep up the good work! Your poem is fabulous...and true. :)  :)

  5. I'm 12 and I thought it was bad.
