My pokemon just got Pokerus!!?

Okay so i went to my pc to withdraw a pokemon when all of a sudden i saw that my ponyta that i caught 1 day earlier had pokerus and i have heard that having pokerus is good and bad good because u get more evs but bad because u can get ur game erased someone reply asap so that i wont do the wrong thing.

all it does is make ur pokemon stat levels go up super high thats all nothin bad

First, what you have heard is all lies I believed it once and erased my game. Don't do that is a really good thing.

Yes, it does boost you exp points and it doesn't erase your game.

After 24-48 hours it goes away but any pokemon you leave in the box will still have it. In other words pokemon in the box infected with it won't become un-infected unless they are in your party for 24-48 hours.

Also any pokemon in your party with the infected pokeon will catch pokerus too.
