My pokemon silver game wont save

I just bought a pokemon silver and it wont allow me to save.

plz help me

I know your pain. Same thing happened with my Crystal. U can't do anything about it. A certain mechanism of the game is dead, but Nintendo doesn't make extra copies of the game so u can't get it fixed.

P.S If u still wanna beat the game, put it in a Game Boy Adcance SP and put it on charger then play the game, when u r tired put the game down while still on charger, and then pick it up again later. It's that simple

what's worse all gamestop stores stop selling the old games back in MAY  because the gamers were having battery  problems..

uuhhmm, sorry to say but that games file is wrecked, take it back and get a new one if you can, that's what happened to my pokemon gold..

My Crystal was having a problem similar to that. I would save but when I turned it back on, I had to start a new game. The guy at GameStop said the cartridge was broken. That might be the problem with yours.
