My polaris 380 won't work?

Ok well I went swimming today with my cousins at my Aunt's house. I accidentally dragged the pool cleaner with my legs when I was swimming. It kept working and all but then it just stopped. My question is does the Polaris 380 turn off and on, on its own??

PLEASE HELP I NEED TO FIX IT BEFORE MY AUNT ARRIVES HOME THURSDAY!!

how old are you? you have to be careful with these pump systems. a polaris usually has its own pump. that need to be turned off so nothing burns up. but dont turn off the main pump because that filters the pool. then just wait until a professional can look at it.

its important to keep the polaris in the water at all times.
