Your question is not clear and complete.

Any policy taken should be paid until the maturity or upto premium paying term. That's why you have to pay the premium upto that period.

You may stop at your will and surrender the policy, but at a loss.

If the policy is a ULIP, then the premium would be deducted from your units. Please contact your agent or the Insurance company branch to find the facts of the policy.

u might hav taken a ULIP , in tat case 3 yrs is the minimum premium (or compulsory premium) payment term but the policy term may be different so check the policy in detail if u hav completed the compulsory premium payement term then u can even decide not to pay further premium which may not create much prob to u , contact ur insurance company or agent to kno more details .
