I have a Cuetec Allison Fisher signature pool cue that I used to keep in my car. Unfortunately, due to the hot Texas summer and black leather interior, the threads became warped so it was nearly impossible to s***w the cue back together. Well, after messing with it for hours, I finally was able to get it to s***w back together using vegetable oil and slow reinforcement. The problem now is, it won't come unscrewed! I have tried everything! Muscles, pliers, fire, etc... does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to losing it up without damaging it?

  1. Sorry Dre I dont the damage is done

    Texas heat got it

A wall hanger maybe Im sure cut-tec gets knocked enough but that is one of their many weak points Allison's real stick does not have that joint

  2. apparently coca cola is good for loosening stuff i seen it on tv poured over a nut and bolt where the nut wouldn't come off after some coke on it it came off

  3. sorry to tell you this, but it sounds like you're S.O.L...*sh.t outta luck*.....the worst thing anyone can do to their cue stick is leave it out in the sun/heat/moisture...it's warped & I don't think there is anything to do for it..yea, you can try wd-40 on it to try to loosen it up, but even if you do take it apart, how are you gonna put it together again?...You should try to find another butt or shaft (whichever's the warped end) that'll fit....unless Johnny or Shooter has another solution... :)......DreO

  4. Wrap the shaft and butt with a peice of leather( an old belt ) then get out the pliers

The plastic thread insert is prob melted .once you get it apart a pro cue repair person should be called to repair it,or just take it to one as is and let them do it Hopfully the shaft doesn't split before it unscrews. if that tight it very well could-Good luck

  5. totally off the wall answer, but who knows, if heat did it, would putting it in a cooler or freezer shrink it enough to get apart? just a thought:)
