My pool is green and i need some help getting it clear everyone says in 2 days you can be swimming?

  1. We've gone through this. It is going to take some concentrated attention to get it working.  Your pool is green because you didn't have the proper mix of chemicals in it when it was closed in the winter.  So you need to bring the chemical levels up.  Shock the pool every 12 hours for two days.  At the end of that time, check your water or bring it to a pool store to have them check it for you.  It should be clear at that point.  Most likely more chlorine and Ph increaser will be needed.  Keep the filter running and keep checking your water every 12 hours to determine what should be added.  It's a long tedious process, but necessary to be able to enjoy your pool this summer.  When you get ready to close it this winter, remember the hassle and adjust what you did previously so you don't have to deal with this again next year.
