My pool is green?

my above ground is always green. i dont care too much, however its completely safe to swim in it right?

  1. I would say you have an algee problem I would'nt swim in it but I don't think its  harmful but I am no expert

  6. your pool is full of algae, it's not necessarily harmful to swim in but if your pool is full of algae you are not treating it properly and there could be other things in the water that are harmful.

  7. Green means algae.  You can swim in algae, such as in a pond, but, in a pool, you should treat the algae and get rid of it.  Pools should be sparkly and blue.  You definitely need to take a sample of your pool water to the pool place nearest you and find out what you need to do to treat it.  It's not going to get any better unless you do.

  8. You need to test the water and add chlorine. It is unhealthy to swim in. If it's a wading pool scrub it out and change the water.
