My pool is read for vacuum, but the vacuum eeps stopping. Please help?

The water is somewhat clouded,i keep backwahing and bumping. The vacuum runs for 1-2 minutes than it stops. Pls. help Thank you

you say the vacuum runs for 1-2 minutes then stops..you mean the suction stops or you have an automatic vacuum that stops?..if its the suction,your filter may be too small to handle the debris...those perflex filters have a very small square footage of filtering area....maybe a sand filter will give you better luck with a high grade sand media: http://www.swimming-pool-information.com...
