I've shocked my inground pool twice, balanced the pH and Clorine levels and then shocked my pool again for good measures. After all of this, I still have green water in my pool. Can anybody help?

  1. My pool got really bad do to lack of time to keep it up when business got busy. I spent $100's of dollars trying to correct it to just drain it scrub it and start over. Lot cheaper.  Easier to keep a clean pool clean than to get a dirty pool clean. The water bill was not as much as the cost I paid with chemicals. My husband made me do it and for this time in our marriage he was right.HaHa.

  2. Some algae is resistant to chlorine, and needs more drastic measures.

there are chemicals out there which are specifically designed to kill algae.  These are available in residential strength too.

the one that we used for a commercial outdoor pool was called Algae-solve, and it worked wonders.  cleared the water up good, but algae buildup on the walls had to be scrubbed off.

go to  your pool chemical supply store, and ask around.  they will have some!

  3. Drain it and skate in it!
