  1. Here is the truth about pool water -

  2. the first thing I would check for is conditioner lever...without conditioner, the sun can burn the chlorine out of a pool in a matter of hours...

  3. Um put less chlorine in the filter? or use only 2 small bars if u use that kind

  4. Chlorine disappears from pool water due to rain and/or lots of sunlight.

If you are adding chlorine all the time, but your test kit says there isn't any in there, you need to shock your pool. In other words, hyper-chlorinate it with shock.

  5. Their is a total chlorine and active chlorine.

Check on your test kit how to measure them.

If their is a difference between the total and active chlorine you have to super-chlorinate the pool to kill the dead chlorine.

If their is no difference between total and active chlorine you don't have dead chlorine and no need to super-chlorinate.

Then to use less chlorine you may want to buy a stabilizer to add to pool water.

Usually the use of more chlorine is due to a lot of people using the pool and the sun burning the chlorine.

You can stop by a pool supply and maintenance company and they will offer you stabilizer chemical
