My pool water has a yellow tint but is clear any suggestions?

Take a sample of your water to a local pool store of county extension office. They can do a water analysis and tell you if there is something else you need to add. My parents had to do this with their inground pool a few times for various problems

Sounds like you have a high level of iron in the pool.  Take a sample and get it checked out by a pool shop, before the sides of the pool are stained..
