Question:

My pools water is cloudy and my walls are all slimy?

i heard i should you eathier shock or algicide but im not sure which one

can anyone please tell me which one will work better?

  1. You should shock and brush the walls with a tough bristled brush.  Keep brushing the walls until it all goes away, but you must clean your filters often to rid the system of the dead algae.  Algaecide will not help the water clarity.  Make sure you are keeping your water balanced once it's fixed and cleaning your filters regularly so the problem doesn't persist.  Turning the water temperature down will help too.

  4. You could go with either one, they'd both do the trick because this is obviously an algae problem. Whenever your pool walls feel unnatually slimy you know you've got algae.

    Anyways since they both work good it's really your choice, I'm not sure which one costs more or which one works faster but just bring those in as factors when you're deciding which one to use.
