I posted this last night but didnt get any answers so imma ask again...

I have a 6-7 month old russian blue kitten...Ive only had him for about a week and a half. Just today, I got a 15-17 week old siamese kitten. The russian blue is a male, and the siamese is a female. Ever since I brought her home a few hours ago, my male kitten has been getting on top of her, gently biting her to hold her down, and humping her. I cant get him to the vet to get him neutered for proably another 2 weeks, and Im thinking once he gets neutured it will stop. What should I do??? I dont want her to get hurt or anything. Thanks!!!

  1. Seperate them. It sucks, but if you must, lock one in a room.

  2. i would keep them apart to you go to the vet.........unless you want kittens  ''a lot can happen in those two weeks,i think i would go to the vet asap..sounds like she might already be .......in heat.good luck

  3. I have a male cat that is 3 years out and he has been fixed since he was old enough, and I have 2 females that when they go into heat, he does the same thing, He has never hurt them at all and they are 2 years younger the he is. When it started I just watched them and never had a real problem. And as far as the male ripping the females neck out I have no clue where this person got that info, but I have cats and kittens for 40 years and never have I even heard anything even close to that.

  4. Set up an appointment to have your male neutered and get a firm date.  In the meantime, if you think things are too rough between them then it would be best to keep them separated.

    Good Luck!
