  1. http://www.superantispyware.com/

DOWNLOAD FREE VERSION AND RUN COMPLETE SCAN .................

  2. Go to http://www.popup-remover.com

I use that program. It works very well.

Block pop-up ads and remove spyware .

  3. go to the toolbar in "extra" click on "options" or "internetoptions"

look for pop ups allowed for .....  and not allowed for.....

In not allowed you type the url file of the bad companies, but i say "bad" because they are bad. you can enter maybee 5 different url names to block them. e.g.: with "www" without "www" and "com" and without "com" . type all is possible because they tread you bad those companies. Don't give up and block them their.

    good luck .

  4. If you pop-up blocker is working and you still are getting them, then you must have spy-ware on your computer, search google and you'll get a remover easy enough, theres one called spy-doc or something, if you find that its pretty good.

They usually aren't damaging, just annoying and they lag your computer as well as cause lag. Good luck. By the way spy ware is a hidden program that downloads itself when you click the wrong thing then auto-runs its pop-up program after certain intervals.

  5. You may have spyware on your computer. No one product is foolproof so you may want to download, check for updates and run these in Safe Mode should you prefer. To get to Safe Mode, reboot your computer and hold down the F8 key while it is starting up. A screen will appear after a few seconds where you can choose Safe Mode. To exit Safe Mode all you have to do is reboot. You should also re-run your antivirus product while in safe mode.

    SuperAntispyware

Spybot S&D (free version requires manual updating)

Adaware from Lavasoft (free version requires automatic updating)

(These programs can be run in Safe Mode after installation and updating)

In addition to the above, you may want to install SpywareBlaster. This program is free and requires you to check for, and enable, updates manually once a week or so. It uses no system resources. It blocks spyware before it installs.

Finally, you didn't specify the type of pop-ups appearing. If they are Messenger Service pop-ups, follow these steps.

    - Click Start and then click Control Panel.

    - Click Performance and Maintenance. (If you do not see the Performance and Maintenance icon, you may be using Classic View. You can skip to step 3 below, but you must double-click Administrative Tools.)

    - Click Administrative Tools

    - Double-click Services

    - Double-click Messenger.

    - In the Startup type list, choose Disabled

    - Click Stop, and then click OK

Reboot to ensure the settings stick. To see screenshots, you can go to the Microsoft page below:

  6. Scam, Spyware, Malware, maybe even a virus. Scan it with Ad-Aware 2007 (lavasoft.com), then delete everything it finds. Then scan with your security program. If you don't have one, download avast (avast.com) or Avg. Scan it. Then go to your internet Browser, and click Tools>Internet Options> General> Then Clear all the cookies.... by pressing clear.

    Hope this helps!
