I am unable to list my portfolios in the order I would like. At one time I was able to do this. Have I forgotten how or is this option not available?

  2. You do not need to delete and recreate your portfolios to reorder them.  Below are the steps you need to take:

    1) Change to old-style interface.

    2) Select the 'edit' link, then 'edit content'

    3) In the column titled 'Portfolio order', simply renumber your portfolios from 1 to n (where n is the number of portfolios you have), then click 'Sort'.

  3. If you prefer not to download the Yahoo Toolbar, the only way to re-arrange the display order of your portfolios is to recreate them in the order you wish to see them displayed.  Currently, there is now mechanism in place (on the Finance page or the My Yahoo Beta page) to re-order your portfolios.

If your porfolios are just watchlists, recreating them in the preferred order is pretty quick as you can just copy-n-paste the symbol list (I had to do this for the 4 portfolios I have set up)

EDIT >>>> To switch back to the Classic version:

You should see a small link "Switch to original My Yahoo!" in the upper right hand corner of you My Yahoo page (there is also a small link at the very bottom of the page)

--Click on this link and a confirmation page will come up.

--Click on the "Switch Back" button and you should be back to your old (classic) My yahoo page.

    If that doesn't work, try

    http://cm.my.yahoo.com/switch

This works for most people (myself included and I switch back and forth all the time). If on your next visit, you are greeted with a promo page asking you if you wish to see your new beta page, click on the small "cancel" link and this should switch you back to your classic styled Yahoo page.

NOTE: As per a previous answerer, who claims to have called Yahoo support and was told: "The old page is permanently gone." I am still using it, so I know that is not the case for everyone (at least at this time), so it is possible that your old Classic version may be gone permanently.

You might send in you feedback that this is a feature you would like to see

    Hope this is helpful.
