My last period was July 13-17 and ovulation tests came up positive July28 - Aug 1st. I had intercourse plenty. I took an EPT /- test this morning (my pee did not look concentrated like they say it should be on peeonastick.com it was not dark yellow it was like ..lite and white).. and the test came out negative. Was it to early for me to test? My period is due around the 14th it is the 11th..should I wait and test when it is due? Could this be a false negative?

Please help!

  1. Don't fret...just try again in about a week after your period is due. I know that you're probably super anxious (I felt the same way), but it was probably just to soon to check. I remembering going through that when my husband and I were trying to get pregnant...frustrating, isn't it! lol. But, just try to be patient. After about 5 months of trying, we decided to just stop trying and let it happen on it's own and what do ya know, the exact month I quit worrying about it and doing all the silly tricks they suggest...we got pregnant! So, that's the advice I've been giving everyone. I would still just go to bed afterwards (to let it "soak in") instead of getting up to clean up. And I think b/c I quit stressing about it, my body let it happen on it's own. Good Luck to ya hun!

  2. I think that it is too early to test. I would take a test around 5-7 days after the first day of your missed period. This way you will get an accurate reading. best of luck to you!!

  3. .....could be a false negative.

  4. i really think it is too ealry to test, the reason why they say wait till 2 weeks after your period is due is because 1 in 3 pregnancys fail in the first 2-3 weeks, it isnt necesarily a m/c but its really common its just that not many women notice it.
