  1. a sneetch! he could get yellow sweat pants and shirt and put a green star on his belly for a star bellied sneetch.

  2. Make him the Lorax--give him a cane, baggy clothes, tell him to act like an old man and go around saying, "I speak for the trees."

Or he could be poor Mr. Potter--t-crosser, i-dotter--he has to cross t and he has to dot i's at an i-and-t factory out in Van Nuys.

Either of these would be easy for you to make, which is important.

  3. Thing one and Thing two would be easy. Or he could be a fish from 1 fish 2 fish red fish blue fish?  The Mike that rides the bike in 1 fish 2 fish is just a furry suit like an ape. Mr Brown can moo is a brown suit, light blue shirt & tie with brown hat...that's one of our favorites. Good luck.

He's going to have such a good time!

  4. You need to ask HIM which character is his favorite.  We celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday in school last week.  Some of my kindergartners were:

1.The Cat in the Hat (very easy - you can make the red and white striped hat yourself)

    2. Thing 1 and Thing 2 (again, easy - use an old sweatshirt or long white T-shirt with the slogan written across.)

    3. The Grinch

    4. Mr. Brown (from Mr. Brown can Moo, can You?)

    5. Horton (the elephant who sits on Mayzie's egg and out comes an elephant-bird.  Easy to do with a sweat sock tied by string and stiffed with cotton to make the trunk...)

    6. and the old stand by Sam-I-Am from Green Eggs and Ham (also easy to make - cardboard green eggs and green ham and a sign which reads I am Sam)

    Good Luck!!  (-:

  5. Cat in the Hat is an easy one. Why don't you try asking him who his favorite Seuss character is and go from there?

  6. try this site- it gives you ideas of what to dress up in and sells you costumes that are reasonably priced

    www.costumecraze.com/Cartoon-Character...

    Good Luck- Sounds Fun!!

  7. Most young children really like the Cat in the Hat. You can make a hat with constructions paper. Then have him wear black pants with a white shirt and a black vest or sweater for his outfit, unless you are able to find a cat Halloween costume. Then you would draw his whiskers and if you really want to be fancy have him carry Thing 1 and Thing 2 stuffed animals. That would really be cute.

  8. CAT IN THE HAT

    SAM

    GREEN EGS AND HAM GUY

    THE GRINCH

  9. The star belly sneetches would be fun and easy. Could dress child in yellow and cut out a fabric green star and pin it to child's belly. Teaches kids, it's okay to be different. If you don't know the story, go to http://www.peabodyfineart.com/seuss/seus...

    to hear the basics.

  10. the green eggs and ham guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

  11. Ask him who he wants to be. The Lorax is cool. Also thing 1 or thing 2. Get a bunch of hats and he could be Bartholomew Cubbins of the 500 hats.

  12. If you are anything like me you won't have the time or energy to do anything too extravagant so in And To Think I Saw it on Mulberry Street he could dress up as Marco who pretends he sees all he amazing things on the way home from school or he can be the little boy in McElligott's Pool who dreams of all the amazing fish he could catch. Maybe you could copy a fish from the book, cut it out and put it on the end of a stick fishing rod.
