My prescription and drug screen

Question

I have a precription of vicodin from march when I hurt my back.Im constanly pulling out my back and when I do I take one or two.

I took 2 today,Its been weeks since Ive taken any and I have a drug screen tuesday for my new job.

Is my prescription valid for this? I did not have any refills, just a bottle of thirty,

If it has been weeks since you have took any and you don't take any other drugs (street or prescriptions) don't worry about it and don't mention it they won't show up.   But don't take anymore until after you have had the test.   If you only took them once and don't regularly take any other opiates they are out of your system in 2-3 days.  While they were truly prescribed for you and what you are doing is kind of in the "gray" area.   Most people (Employers and legal types) will say you are self-medicated and that you should see the doctor each and every time you pull your back out.   They will say you should have flushed the remaining Vicodin after you were treated and the pain went away the first time.  Don't worry I do the same thing.  I am not a addict but I don't throw away pain pills either.  I keep them for later use so I don't have to run back to the doctor.  But also know they can pull the above scenario to use at their advantage.

you might want to inform your employer about it and get a doctor's note because i don't think all traces will be gone by tuesday

yes u will be fine out in 48 to 72 and just keep the bottle with u to show not a big deal
