  1. Sorry Charlie - Why did you give over an original document anyways.  A certified copy would have been enough.  If he wants to play with you he can.  You have no proof of the situation.  Go get another original copy.  Tell them your lost the original.

Ask nicely, if there is no response, get on with your life.

  2. Who paid for this "education certificate"?  If it was your employer, you are not entitled to it, unless you pay back your employer in full the amount it cost them.

  3. i'm not clear on the question.

you possessed an "educational certificate" document.

you brought the original document to your previous employer to review.

you no longer work there, they have the document filed and refuse to give it back to you? if what i've written is is correct:

    a) get started on getting a duplicate from whomever issued you the original document

    b) contact your local legal aid to sue for the return of your property

    c) never give up any original document unless you are legally bound to do so. bring a copy along with the original and give the copy only after a reasonable explanation is given as to why they need one on file

    good luck to you

  4. If this was something he paid for then you will probably need to reimburse him before you get it.
