My printer keeps jamming?

It's a Brother 420 CN, it's a printer/scanner/fax. It was bought new in December of 2006.

Today, I was going to print something off the computer and it ran out of paper with one page left to go, so I took the paper tray out and and filled it again, and told it to keep printing. The comunnication between the computer and the printer is fine, it just keeps jamming on me repeatedly. A couple of times, it wouldn't even pick up the paper!

Oh, and it's never done this before. Every other time it jammed, I took out the jam and it was fine.

Please help! What am I doing wrong?

It could be the paper.  Flick it well before you put it into the printer.  If it is cheap paper - change it.  Try buying different paper from elsewhere.
