My printer won't stay on.....it

My printer won't stay on.....it says initializing then shuts off....It is a HP PSC 2210..Power 120VModel NO. C8658A.....Serial MY2AVD3454....It was purchased on January 8, 2003 for $319.49.It is an ALL-IN-ONE designed for Windows XP....We now have the Vista program with our newest computer.Thanks for all your help!Sincerely,CAROLYN TIMMINS(386)[e-mail]
