My printer wouldn't stop printing

My printer wouldn't stop printing even when I clicked on cancel or turned off the computer and rebooted. I went to the printers and fax icon and found two printer sources--Adobe PDF and HP880C. The HP (which is what I've been using. It indicated there was 1 program ready. Thinking I should delete that, it deleted the whole HP Printer. Now I don't know how to reinstall HP88C. Please advise.Theresa Codespoti
