My projector will startup and then it clicks and tries starting up again. How do you fix this?

The projector is a sharp dlp M20X.

sometimes it will work for 1 minute but cuts out again.

the bulb is fine and does not need replacing.

does the power go on then off again when its not working???? or just the picture?

if this is so then it could be a faulty power point plug

or maybe the shutter

but im not 100 percent sure but it has happened with my projector and the shutter was closing when it was surpose to but

IF you KNOW the bulb is OK it could be the ballast. It's the 'kicker" that gets the bulb to fire.

The fact it sometimes starts but shuts down could also indicate a heat build-up problem causing a protection circuit to trip.

You could try cleaning the foam air filter on the intake to the cooling vents just to be sure ... but I would guess it is the ballast and you need a service centre.
