My propane has ran out on my grill can I use..........?

  1. Get a big aluminum roasting pan and put the charcoal in there and place down where the burners are. Might be easier to get the propane though.  If you goto a uhaul center or heavy equipment rental place they usually fill them up for under 14 bucks...cheaper than doing the exchange.!


  2. I wouldn't use charcoal in a gas grill.The ash is very corrosive and will rust out your burner.

  3. Propane grills are designed for propane use.  Because the bottom of the pit is not  heavy plated.  If u used charcoal on that grill...u might mess it up.  or u have to clean it real good til u get more propane.

  4. You would have to put the charcoal up on the top grilling surface so the heat from it does not wreck the burners. That gives you the problem of where you put the food you will be cooking.

    Go for the propane - you will need it any way sooner or later.

  5. The answer is NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will damage your burners and it's not  be cheap to replace.
