My prregnant guppy acting weird?

my guppy is expecting some fry soon so I moved it to a smaller fish tank to give birth there. she was fine yesterday night but then today a few hours ago she started to go down to the bottom of the fish tank and swim up really fast she just keeps repeating that over and over again. can someone tell me why? it happened close to the time when i started to add hiding spots for the fry that are soon to be born

These are signs that your guppy is going to give birth very soon.  This is completely normal for fish right before they give birth.  When she has all her fry I would remove her from the tank to protect the fry from being eaten by their mother.(The fry will be safe for at least 12 hours after the mother is done giving birth because of her hormones).

How big is the tank? It may be stressed that's why its spassing out. Did you check your water parameters? As in pH ammonia nitrite ect. Though I'm kinda sure its normal for her 2 do that.
