My ps3 blew up my tv?

Question

Ok this may sound weird but I just bought a new ps3 and i took it out of the box. Pluged the AV cables into my tv blah blah my tv was off and then i plugged the power cord into the back. All of a sudden i heard a booming sound and my tv turned on but made no picture....... but i heard white noise. Then i turned my tv off and now it wont turn on and it smells like its burning. What happened??? And what can i do to fix this? I mean its a great tv..

I think it was just a coincidence. Maybe test the outputs on the ps3 with a voltage meter.

Oh dear.

Well I Would Look On The Sony Website It Might Give You Numbers. Also Call In Someone In To Look At Your TV I Doubt It Will Work Sorry.
