My ps3 looks better on my LG plasma than my HP 22 inch LCD?

When i plug my ps3 into my hp monitor it has more jagged edges and it sort of lacks detail. Where as my plasma is the opposite

What is the resolution of your monitor? What is the resolution of your plasma?

How good is the scaler in your monitor?

Do you use VGA or DVI?

If the monitor needs to do more scaling to match its native resolution, then indeed the plasma may be better.
