My psp doesnt recognize any UMD's?

I have a psp and when i put any game in, it stays on the loading symbol for like 7 minutes then a window comes up saying it can read the UMD. I tried cleaning the diskd and the lens but nothing happens, please help! I dont want to have to buy a new psp! (also, i had lost my psp for like, 3 months, it had been found in one of my bags just yesterday, all the games were sitting in my moms car. The psp was working earlier that day, but then stopped working.)

your psp does not read umds its a defect in the psp ive heard lots and lots about it you have to get it repaired or go in into recovery the r trigger thing when you turn on the psp.

set the psp umd to normal  USE YOUR warrenty

after sitting for along period of time in mom's car the disks may be damaged. a psp and disks are delicate and will not tolerate heat, moisture,or cold. try contacting their service dept. and see what they say.
